Here is how you can win your very own Tivo:
  1. Attend one of my signings (or all of them) in New York City, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Houston, Boulder, Denver, Cincinnati or Dayton -- you can see dates here.
  2. Listen for the secret code word, which I will say at some point during my signing (following the words, “this is the secret code word” for those of you who are worried you will miss it.)
  3. Go here to enter in your email address, the appearance city, along with the secret code word.
  4. Only one entry per person. C'mon, be honest. I'll be counting people at my signings, so if twice as many people enter the contest as came to my signing, I'll throw all the entries for that city out.**
  5. Wait to see if you are the proud winner of a Tivo 180-hour digital video recorder with one year of service pre-paid so that next year you can record your precious TV shows and come to my signing, too, like all good Karin Slaughter fans should.
