Karin Slaughter wins the 2013 Edgar Award for Best Short Story

Mystery Writers of America have awarded Karin Slaughter the 2013 Edgar Award for Best Short Story, for her story “The Unremarkable Heart.”

“The Unremarkable Heart” was published in the United States by Mulholland Books/Little, Brown as part of a collection called VENGEANCE, produced by Mystery Writers of America and edited by Lee Child.  The US audio edition was published by AudioGO as part of a collection of Karin Slaughter stories called THE UNREMARKABLE HEART AND OTHER STORIES.  “The Unremarkable Heart” has also been published by Century/Random House in the UK, Cargo/De Bezige Bij in The Netherlands, and Ulpius-haz in Hungary.
